Malcolm Fraser has laid off 8 architects. Despite all the news of the credit crunch it seemed that architects in Scotland were not yet feeling the effects but it may finally be catching up with us. CDA architects also recently laid off a number of staff in their Glasgow office.
Certainly in Inverness, well in this office anyway, things seem to be still moving along with and we are as busy as ever. We have had a chat about it in this office and the consensus is that we must be careful to fee jobs regularly to avoid issuing any shocking invoices to clients, which they would then challenge.
